Incorporated in 2023, KAWA has scaled at exceptional speed, from Middle East feeder services connecting Chinese ports with Jebel Ali to long-haul operations including its China–Europe Express service, and has invested in newbuild tonnage to secure its own capacity. Galeon Shipping is the official UAE agent for Asyad Line, formerly Oman Container Line, the container shipping subsidiary of the Asyad Group.
